Cleansing & Recharging
Malachite does not tolerate water or salt. It is therefore necessary to purify it with the indirect method using pure salt: Put your stone in a small glass container, then place your small container in a larger container (material of your choice). Pour in coarse cooking salt. Be careful not to put coarse salt in the malachite container. Leave your malachite to purify like this for around 1h30 then recharge it.
To recharge it, you can leave your stone for 2 to 3 hours in a bright room. Be careful not to leave your stone exposed to direct sunlight. You can also recharge your malachite on a rock crystal cluster. Recharging on rock crystal takes approximately 1 hour and can be done day or night.
