Amber Essential Oil by Arômes & Évasions™ is a rare aromatic oil obtained from fossilized tree resin associated with prehistoric coniferous trees. The fossilized amber resin is sourced from the Himalayan region of India and processed using dry distillation.

During this process, the amber resin is heated at high temperatures in the absence of oxygen, producing a dark, viscous aromatic oil with an exceptionally persistent smoky, resinous and woody aroma.

Its deep and tenacious aromatic character makes Amber particularly interesting in natural perfumery, where it functions as an excellent base note and fixative. It can also add depth and warmth to incense-inspired, woody, resinous and earthy aromatic compositions.
